THE SHUTTLE MOULD THERMOFORMING MACHINE

The E76 is a fully automatic, electro mechanically driven, thermoforming machine with in-mould
trim, which nullifies shrinkage effects on trim accuracy. It has been designed to process all types of thermoplastic and coextruded materials.
The E76 features the international OMV patent "Shuttle Mould System" which allows a much longer cooling process, 3.5 times longer than in any conventional machine, that has been
especially studied for materials like polyolefin that need longer cooling period. This system, thanks to the reduced opening stroke of the forming press, allows a thermoforming polypropilene cycle
speed as high as the polystyrene's one. This machine incorporates a special Rim-Rolling System
by compression, an OMV international patent, that doesn't require further products heating.
In addition, it also let unloading and stacking different heights products.

E76 SPECIAL FEATURES:
Index drive
Electronic servo-motor allowing to program the translation index from the control panel.
Adjustable frame supports far different sheet widths.
Oven
C-shape oven with top and bottom ceramic heaters,arranged in longitudinal zones and
electronically controlled.
Forming station
Cutting device by excentrics placed under the toggle base and operated by one hydraulic
cylinder (an OMV international patent)
Mould assembly including a fixed upper male part and two lower female tools (Shuttle Mould
System).
Two groups of vacuum extraction plates, taking the products out of the mould and conveying
them to the collection system.
Quick mould fastening by pneumatic system
QuaIity control system, programmed and controlled by software
Plug-assist
Servomotorized plug-assist cylinder (as standard)
